Learners’ Perceptions about TikTok Tutorial Videos as Instructional Media in Learning Statistics

Introductory statistics has been considered an anxiety-inducing course by undergraduates so efforts need to be done reduce or eliminate their negative attitudes about statistics. One of such is using TikTok tutorial videos as instructional media. The current study aimed find out the undergraduates’ perceptions use in introductory classes, describe challenges they encountered and elicit feedback overcome these challenges. results showed that general had favorable videos, but reported three challenges: speed, backsounds instructions videos. Therefore, suggested solutions for challenges, added some other aspects namely, quality pictures, content links. Implications teaching are proposed based on findings.
